Highlights | This island is the second largest in Thailand, with a very rugged relief that accompanies it throughout its entire extension. It is covered by a lush jungle, with picture-postcard bays and fiery sunsets. The park covers an area of 650 square kilometres and spreads over 47 islets stretching from the district of Laem Ngob to that of Klong Yai. Chang Island offers the possibility of experiencing exciting inland adventures such as trekking through the forest or riding elephants through the centuries-old jungle, inhabited by wild boar, Javanese mongooses, reptiles, deer and more than 60 different species of birds. |
