Day 1: Check-in

Boarding available from 17:00 on Saturday. In the evening you will have the opportunity to visit the beautiful old town of Puerto Vallarta with the dominating church of Nuestra Senora de Guadaloupe which dominates the city and enjoy the many clubs and crowded bars along the waterfront.

Day 2

Finally we set sail to sail towards La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, a small and picturesque town with cobblestone avenues famous for live music played in its pubs as well as for the many pubs and restaurants. You can moor in the large Marina of the city or anchor near the city for fishing or water sports.

Day 3

After breakfast we will hoist anchor and open the sails heading north towards Punta de Mita where you can indulge in snorkelling, surfing, kytesurfing, SUP and explore the long coast full of wild beaches and unknown bays: Playa la Manzanilla, Destiladeras, La Lancha. Punta Mita is a fishing village now dotted with luxurious hotels and shapely golf courses as well as a must-see surf spot.

Day 4

Leaving Punta de Mita behind we will continue to explore the beautiful beaches en route to Yelapa where we will need to obtain the entry permit in the Protected Marine Reserve to snorkel and anchor the boat. Do not miss the underwater view of numerous coral reef fish and the birds that inhabit this reserve. Yelapa is located southwest of Puerto Vallarta and has been the property of the Indians who lived there since 1581: it is a small bay with crystal clear waters surrounded by imposing green mountains. The El Tuito River meets the sea in a gold-colored sand bar in the center of the bay ...

Day 5

Continuing to sail in this area we will aim for Majahuitas which is only 3 nautical miles away; here we could indulge in relaxation, snrokeling and long walks on the beach before weighing anchor for Las Animas where we can have dinner at Los Conos restaurant or anchor for the night at casitas Maraika east of Las Animas beach. Fun on land is guaranteed ...

Day 6

Today we will hoist the sails to head to Los Arcos two beautiful islands of rock surrounded by the coral reef. to which attention must be paid during navigation, passing from the north side of the islands and not in the middle. Here, once you go to anchor, you can spend the whole day snorkeling among colorful fish and pristine coral reefs ...

Day 7

Today we head to Porto Vallarta for the return, not before discovering the surrounding area and its many unmissable spots. In the afternoon you can go to cover Isla Cuale near the local river before mooring in the port and enjoy a night in the Mexican nightlife among art galleries.

Day 8: Check-out

Check-out is scheduled in the morning at 9 a.m.

The itinerary might be subject to variations due to weather conditions, safety and technical evaluations of the Captain. This program is intended as indicative and non-binding.

Not to be missed

After seeing Puerto Vallarta from the water, it is time to see it from the sky. Puerto Vallarta enjoys a unique location, nestled between the sea and the mountains. The city climbs back up the green-carpeted hills, creating picture-perfect vantage points over the entire city.

One of the best is the viewpoint of Cerro de la Cruz. Perched above Centro, this vantage point offers a bird's eye view of the entire city, the bay and to the north, Nuevo Vallarta and the hills of Punta Mita.

The climb is not for the faint-hearted, as it is a straight shot, but the view is worth it as the red-roofed city opens up before you. In high season, there is a funicular railway that operates from 6am to 10pm. The ascent takes between 15 and 40 minutes depending on your fitness level.
