Day 1: Check-in
Boarding from 4 pm on Saturday afternoon in the touristic port of Marsala, where you can go shopping for the trip and buy some good fresh fish.Once onboard, after you have had a briefing with your skipper and taken your place in the cabin, you can have dinner in one of the typical restaurants on the seaside in Marsala, and then visit the characteristic old town. We will spend the night in the port.
Day 2
On Sunday morning, we leave the port and head towards Favignana to have a bath and anchor in the most beautiful little coves around the island. Favignana is a butterfly-shaped island, landing place of the legendary Ulysses, where everything relates to the sea: ancient tuna fishing traditions make it a popular destination for lovers of this fish. After an afternoon dedicated to relax and snorkeling over the uncontaminated seabed of the Marine Park, we will moor in the port for the night and visit the ancient “Tonnara” of the village.
Day 3
After a rich breakfast, we leave the port and take a swim before setting the sails to reach the waters of Levanzo, where we have the possibility to visit the island and the picturesque little village facing a bay with crystal clear water where the boats seem to be floating. We will have dinner and spend the night at anchor under the starry sky.
Day 4
It’s already Tuesday and, after breakfast, there will be time for bathing, swimming and relaxing before starting to sail towards Marettimo. After an afternoon at anchor, we will spend the night in the port to visit the village and discover the tasty local cuisine, famous for its fresh fish. In the restaurants of the area, you can taste couscous with seafood, grilled tuna, sea urchin, prawns and lobsters, all freshly caught.
Day 5
We spend this Wednesday around the island of Marettimo, discovering every corner of it, like the marine caves and the natural reserve, using only the allowed local fishing boats. After lunch, we will spend the afternoon walking up to the castle of Punta Troia, before going back to our boat for a bath and then a good dinner in a wonderful little cove under the castle.
Day 6
Wednesday will be dedicated to wandering around the island of Marettimo and exploring its every nook and cranny, with visits to the sea caves and the integral reserve, using only the permitted boats of local fishermen. After lunch, we will spend the afternoon walking to Punta Troia Castle and then return to the boat for a swim. Dinner will take place in the beautiful bay below the castle.
Day 7
On the last day of the trip, the skipper will take you to new coves and bays, letting you relax while swimming and sunbathing before setting the sails in the afternoon, heading towards Marsala where we will spend the night in the port. The curious ones can visit the lively old town, a short walk from the marina.
