Greece and Dodecanese from Rhodes - ID 363

Day 1: Check-in

Our cruise from Rhodes Marina begins with embarkation at 16:00 hours. Rhodes harbour is a lively area full of Greek taverns, markets selling local products and numerous antique shops. You can take the opportunity to visit the old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its distinctive architecture and historical charm. Dinner and overnight stay in the new marina of Rhodes.

Day 2

This morning we are ready to set sail for Symi, one of the most characteristic islands of the Dodecanese, a true gem. Our first stop will be Nanou Bay, where you can dive into its crystal-clear waters for a relaxing swim, surrounded by lush forests and green hills. In the afternoon, around 16:00, we will sail to the port of Symi. Have your camera ready to take wonderful pictures of this fairytale little Greek village. Dinner will be served on board, but alternatively you can also choose to go ashore to dine in one of the many tavernas that line the marina.

Day 3

After a hearty breakfast on board, we leave the port of Symi. Our first stop will be the bay of St. George or alternatively one of the other numerous bays, where we will drop anchor for lunch and a dip or simply relax in the crystal-clear waters. In the afternoon, we sail back to Panormitis, on the southern coast of Symi. Here, you can visit the Archangel Michael Panormitis Monastery, a Greek Orthodox monastery built in the early 18th century and still inhabited by monks. If weather conditions are not optimal, you may have to cancel your visit to Panormitis and go to Pedi instead. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing dinner and admire the serene surroundings. Overnight stay in Panormitis.

Day 4

This morning, after a good breakfast on board, we begin our sail to Tilos. This beautiful island is surrounded by high, rocky mountains, steep coastlines, beaches with transparent waters and caves. We will spend the day in the bay of Akrogiali, where you can relax and admire breathtaking views. In the late afternoon we will enter the port of Tilos, giving you the opportunity to stretch your legs with a walk through the picturesque village. In the centre of the island, there is an abandoned village called Mikro Chorio, situated on a hill and accessible by taxi or bus. You can also visit Mikro Chorio in the evening to have a drink at the bar and experience its unique atmosphere. Later, enjoy dinner in one of the many local taverns to savour traditional Greek cuisine before returning on board for an overnight stay.

Day 5

Today we sail to Chalki, a beautiful island north-west of Rhodes. Depending on sea conditions, we will start the cruise before or after breakfast. As tourism is underdeveloped, Chalki is the perfect destination for those who enjoy tranquillity and privacy. The island is famous for its beautiful bays with crystal-clear waters such as Trakhia Bay, where we will spend the day. In the late afternoon we will reach Nimporio, the island's only village and main port. The waterfront promenade of Nimporio is lined with charming cafes and tavernas. After a day of exploration and relaxation, enjoy a traditional local fish dinner or Meze in one of the many local taverns run by local fishermen. Overnight stay in Chalki.

Day 6

This morning we leave the port of Chalki early in the morning to return to the island of Rhodes. Depending on the weather and sea conditions, breakfast will be served either during navigation or on arrival at Anthony Quinn Bay. This beach is named after the actor who bought this part of the island during the filming of ‘The Guns of Navarone’. Later we sail to Kalithea, famous for its beautiful coves and beaches, where we spend the rest of the day. Its lively atmosphere and enchanting setting make it a delightful destination for our last full day.

Day 7

We sail back to Rhodes Marina in the morning, giving us ample time to explore the city. This day is free for us to take in the sights of this medieval city, one of the best preserved in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site. We spend the night at the disembarkation marina, where those who will be pleased can enjoy a traditional dinner (optional not included in the price) with the other cruise participants for final farewells and to enjoy the last evening together.

Day 8: Check-out

Today is our departure day. Enjoy the last delicious Mediterranean breakfast on board. Disembarkation at Rhodes Marina is scheduled for 09:00 am.

The itinerary may be subject to variations based on weather conditions, safety conditions and the technical assessments of the captain of the boat. This program is intended as indicative and not binding.
