San Blas islands, Panama - ID 77 View More
Day 1: Check-in
Transfer from Panama City to San Blas (Taxi + Boat two ways USD 220 per person). We finally start sailing to our first destination, Cayo Lemon, the first gem of San Blas, and access to this paradise of islands. Under the tropical sun and where the water is always crystal clear, you can admire the vividly colored reefs, full of marine life.
Day 2
Enjoy the freedom that only the boat and the sea can give you, doing only what you like the most. Thanks to the modern tenders, we can move easily to go snorkeling in the best spots, among anemone, parrot and angelfishes and turtles… but also lizards and birds that hide among the mangroves. The wild and uncontaminated nature won’t stop surprising you with its fantasy. Once we have explored the area, we move towards Chichime, spending the night in its lagoon after a good lobster dinner.
Day 3
After breakfast and a couple of dives and swims, we sail towards Cayo Holandes, a real natural pool of crystal clear water where you can relax. Here we can meet the Kuna, who will join us on their traditional boats, attracted by our presence: they will take with them some traditional handicraft products, but also fruits and vegetables that they trade to sustain their community, indissolubly linked to centuries-old traditions.
Day 4
We set sail towards Coco Bandero, the breeze leads us fast and takes us close to the palm trees and the pure water that are waiting for us. We spend the afternoon among colored fishes, anemones and starfishes, and then enjoy a fish dinner under the lights of a spectacular beach barbeque. With some sips of Rhum, under a sky full of stars, we can prepare ourselves for sweet dreams.
Day 5
Breakfast on board and then straight to Narganà to get to know the local population better. The Kuna will welcome us with their smiles and colorful dresses. You will be surprised to see how they still live in complete harmony with nature on these islands far from everything, without technology and faithful to their ancient habits. We will try to eat with them, who are usually very hospitable, to fully enjoy this precious cultural exchange.
Day 6
In the morning, we encounter Salar and Green Island, probably the most beautiful of the archipelago. We will spend the day exploring and enjoying this natural paradises. Green Island will give you a feeling of peace and relax never experienced before.
Day 7
One last swim over the coral reef to take home some salt and sun. The colorful and amusing local boat is waiting for you for the return by jeep through the tropical forest and to Panama City, where you can spend the night in the “movida” of the Casco Viejo neighbourhood.
Day 8: Check-out
Check-out is scheduled in the morning by 07:00.
The itinerary might be subject to variations due to weather conditions, safety and technical evaluations of the Captain of the boat. This programming is intended as indicative and non-binding.
