Day 1: Check-in
Our tour starts in the marina of Marsala, and sailing begins at 5 pm. Arrival in Favignana in the evening, the butterfly-shaped island, landing place of the mythical Ulysses where everything refers to the sea. Depending on weather conditions and crew needs, you can stay overnight in the roadstead or in port. Otherwise you can go ashore and enjoy the island's nightlife.
Day 2
After a hearty breakfast, begin your journey in search of the most beautiful and picturesque bays for swimming and relaxation. You will have the opportunity to visit the famous Cala Rossa and Cala Azzurra, but you will have much more to discover. After a day full of sailing and relaxing swims, we will head to Previto Bay to spend the night. A very special place, where coral reefs act as a breakwater and keep the sea calm and flat. With a pristine environment free of light pollution and beautiful clear skies, you will enjoy views of the sky you would not normally see.
Day 3
In the morning we set anchor and sail to Levanzo, the smallest and wildest of the Egadi Islands. There are no roads or cars here, and the scent of the Mediterranean scrub is so strong that it leaves an unforgettable impression on visitors and is ideal for trekking enthusiasts. We will go ashore to visit the quaint village and those who wish can book a tour to discover the Genovese Caves. After a day as magical as the lands that host us, we will spend the night at the harbor under the stars.
Day 4
We will start the day exploring the most beautiful bays on the island. Do not miss a dip in the famous Cala Fredda, Cala Minora and Cala Tramontana. As soon as we tire of these wonderful landscapes, so to speak, we will sail to the island of Marettimo. Along this route it is easy to spot schools of dolphins swimming along the bow as if competing for speed. Once in Marettimo you will visit the historic center where you can enjoy a Sicilian granita.
Day 5
Taking advantage of Marettimo's famous pastry shops, we will delight in a rich and sweet breakfast of cannoli, capiduzzi and genovesi (another typical dessert from this part of Sicily). Satisfied and happy we will embark on a local fishing boat to the island's caves. The trip will take about 2.5-3 hours. On the return trip, we will sail aboard a catamaran to stop at Punta Troia. We will disembark and take a short hike to an ancient castle overlooking the sea, from where we can enjoy a spectacular sunset.
Day 6
A day almost entirely dedicated to sailing and the sea. Immediately after breakfast we will head to Favignana. We will take advantage of the different bays for diving and relaxing swims. In the evening we will arrive at the port where a visit to the island's ancient tuna fishery awaits us. The building has been beautifully restored and is now used as a museum. In visiting it you can still feel the noise and smell of the ancient slaughter.
