Check-In
On Friday afternoon, starting from 5 pm, you will be welcomed to take your place in the cabin. You will find your boat at the Royal Malta Yacth Club – Ta’Xbiex in Malta.
Day 1
Breakfast and last purchases before leaving! We start sailing to the north-west, towards Saint Paul’s Island. The legend says that Paul, who was sanctified later on, got shipwrecked here during his trip to Rome, where he had to be tried as a rebel. We will eat in the bay, with plenty of time for bathing, before continuing our trip. In the early afternoon we head towards Comino, where we will enter the splendid waters of the famous Blue Lagoon. This fantastic place will host us for the night, becoming a calm and silent blue mirror.
Day 2: Check-out
On Sunday we will wake up into a breathless scenery! A bath in the blue of the lagoon before your skipper takes you to Mgarr ix-Xini for brunch in the island of Gozo, in a typical little restaurant on the beach where you can admire the splendor of nature. Once you have charged your batteries with a good coffee, we still have some afternoon hours for a last bath in Comino, into the Crystal Lagoon: here you can visit the cave of Calypso, where the beautiful nymph held Ulysses prisoner for seven years promising eternal life, as recounted in the Odyssey. Relaxed and immersed in history, we head towards La Valletta to spend the evening or prepare ourselves for the journey home.
The itinerary might be subject to variations due to weather conditions, safety and technical evaluations of the Captain. This program is intended as indicative and non-binding.
