Day 1: Check-in
Boarding available from 11:00 at the Marina of Policoro, where the skipper will wait for you. After a brief presentation of the boat and the rules of life on board, you will go on to grab some food and beverages before leaving for a sailing to the Cheradi islands, a small archipelago in the south-west of the Mar Grande di Taranto dock. The largest isle is San Pietro, characterized by jagged cliffs as well as equipped sandy beaches. In the smallest islet, dedicated to San Paolo, there is a military fort that dates back to the Napoleonic Era. A real uncontaminated paradise on earth, where you can also easily see dolphins swimming in the crystal clear waters!
Day 2
Today you will sail towards Campomarino, one of the most beautiful places in Alto Salento. The stunning beach of gold sand is located near the ancient Torre delle Moline, a tower built in 1473 that in the past was used to spot enemy raids from the sea. You will enjoy a relaxing day in the sea, between diving and swimming in the crystal-clear waters of the Ionian Sea.
Day 3
This morning we set sail to Gallipoli, the Pearl of Salento. Here the beaches - La Purita, Baia Verde, Punta della Suina just to cite some - are real natural beauty. You will enjoy the uncontaminated nature and sea. After mooring inside the port, where you will spend the night, you can walk around in the city center, between ancient buildings and charming churches influenced by the unique Baroque style. You may have dinner in traditional restaurants to taste the best typical Salento food.
Day 4
Today you will sail to the south of Apulia to reach Santa Maria di Leuca, where the two seas meet: the Ionian Sea and the Adriatic Sea. Here you can visit many grottoes around Leuca, a real marvel for the eyes! In particular, the Grotta del Drago and the Grotta degli Innamorati will enchant you with their suggestive shapes. Night at anchor to enjoy the wonder of this place from the sea.
Day 5
In the morning, you will change direction and sail along the coast to reach Porto Cesareo, one of the most beautiful seaside resorts of Salento. Breathtaking landscapes, fine gold sand and crystal-clear waters perfect for snorkeling. Another peculiarity of the wonderful sea of Porto Cesareo is the large number of sea caves, in particular the Grotta Cattedrale, which is famous for its dome-shape, is worth a visit.
Day 6: Check-out
Check-out on Saturday morning by 11.00 at the Marina of Policoro.
The itinerary might be subject to variations due to weather conditions, safety and technical evaluations of the Captain of the boat. This programming is intended as indicative and non-binding.
