This is an example itinerary suggested by the BeBlue skippers who are experts in the navigation area. The route can be planned on the needs of the group before departure or during navigation.
Check-in available in the afternoon at the Charter offices in the Embarkation Marina. After finishing the quick procedures of taking over the boat (technical check-in) and boarding the galley, you can enjoy an aperitif and dinner near the Marina or alternatively set sail immediately and enjoy the first sailing.
We leave in the early morning to reach the island of Saint Vincent. After a visit to Wallilabou Bay, location from the movie Pirates of the Caribbean – The Curse of the Black Pearl, we will head for Cumberland Bay, where it is possible to go ashore for shopping or walk along the Cumberland Trail, natural habitat for the parrot of Saint Vincent, the Amazona Guidingii.
After breakfast and once we have weighed anchor, we head for the island of Bequia, entrance door to the archipelago of the Grenadines. We will stop in Admiralty Bay, where we find the famous white beaches of Lower Bay and Princess Margaret. In the afternoon, we can visit the capital, Port Elizabeth, little and lively town with colorful neighborhoods and omnipresent portraits of the Queen of England. Lovers of marine fauna can also book a trip to the Old Hegg Turtle Sanctuary, interesting example of protection of the sea turtles. We conclude the day with an optional dinner at The Fig Tree, little restaurant overlooking the bay, with live music.
With the sails driven by trade winds, we reach the northern point of the island of Mayreau to enjoy the white beach and the quiet waters of Salt Whistle Bay. From the beach, through a short walk, you can reach the village and enjoy a wonderful view over the Tobago Cays. Mayreau also offers the possibility to have some good fish dishes in little and typical restaurants.
This day is dedicated to the natural wonders of the Tobago Cays, five uninhabited islets surrounded by a turquoise sea. With the tender, we will take you snorkeling around Horse Shoe Reef, a place full of multicolor fishes, and let you admire the sea turtles of the reserve of Baradal, discover the tropical flora and fauna including iguanas and colorful birds in Petit Bateau, James Bay and Petit Rameau, and see another location from “Pirates of the Caribbean” in Petit Tobac. Dinner will be aboard, under a sky full of stars.
Early in the morning, we head towards Musique, favorite island of the Hollywood jet set and famous people from all over the world. We will swim around the most beautiful beaches of the island (Macaroni and Blue Lagoon) and, if you wish, you can admire the facades of the villas while moving around by golf car. We will then enjoy an aperitif on the beach at the famous Basil’s Bar, which, in the end of January, will be the location of the Blues Festival and that offers live music every night.
We leave at dawn to reach Saint Vincent, where we will visit the capital, Kingstown, with the possibility to go shopping among the stands of Market Square and of walking around the Botanic Gardens, to admire the main floristic species of the Caribbean. Kingstown, thanks to the near airport, offers the possibility to leave earlier if anyone needs. Dinner will be at one of the many restaurants in town or aboard. Return to port is scheduled for late afternoon.
Disembarkation is scheduled in the early morning after breakfast.
