This is an example itinerary suggested by the BeBlue skippers who are experts in the navigation area. The route can be planned on the needs of the group before departure or during navigation.
Check-in available in the afternoon at the Charter offices in the Embarkation Marina. After finishing the quick procedures of taking over the boat (technical check-in) and boarding the galley, you can enjoy an aperitif and dinner near the Marina or alternatively set sail immediately and enjoy the first sailing.
We set sail from Lefkas and, navigating peacefully along the canal, we reach the open sea where we can raise sail towards the little archipelago of the smaller islands of Skorpio, Skorpidi and Tilia, ideal stop for a first dive to initiate the holiday. With a short sailing to the south-east we can reach Meganissi with its verdant coasts and protected bays, where you can visit the beautiful towns of Vathy and Katomeri or spend the night on board in the suggestive Limonari Bay.
We leave early from Meganissi for a beautiful sailing to the south in the direction of Ithaca, one of the smallest and at the same time most fascinating inhabited islands in Greece. You will be simply enchanted by the legendary homeland of Ulysses with its rocky bays and the white coasts made of nacre and limestone, falling steeply into a crystal clear sea.
From Ithaca we head north with a peaceful close-hauled sailing that will take us to Atokos, one of the western and remotest Ionian islands off the Acarnanian coast. The island is nearly uninhabited, but we will find a wonderful bay of white pebbles and light blue water, with a little solitary house immersed in green olive groves: the ideal place to admire the sunset and spend a peaceful night.
The little island of Kastos is really one of the gems of the Ioanian Sea; you can reach it from Atokos through a short sailing trip to the north-east. Its small harbour on the east side is the perfect place to have a nice dinner, enjoying the excellent local cuisine and the uncontested hospitality of the inhabitants of this small island.
We sail along the western coast of Kastos, stopping in the wonderful Sarakinos Bay to have a swim. From there, we go to the north-west towards the near island of Kastos, famous for its uncontaminated nature and its many inlets where you can stop to have lunch and go snorkeling. At sunset, you can stop for the night in one of its silent bays on the south-east, where you find white beaches surrounded by ancient olive trees, some of the oldest in the whole Ionian Sea.
After breakfast amidst the songs of the cicadas of Kalamos we set sail north toward Lefkas. Break for lunch at Vatheiavali beach where you can enjoy the sea and sun. Return to port is scheduled for late afternoon.
Disembarkation is scheduled in the early morning after breakfast.
The itinerary may be subject to variations based on weather conditions, safety conditions and the technical assessments of the captain of the boat. This program is intended as indicative and not binding.
