This is an example itinerary suggested by the BeBlue skippers who are experts in the navigation area. The route can be planned on the needs of the group before departure or during navigation.
Check-in available in the afternoon at the Charter offices in the Embarkation Marina. After finishing the quick procedures of taking over the boat (technical check-in) and boarding the galley, you can enjoy an aperitif and dinner near the Marina or alternatively set sail immediately and enjoy the first sailing.
Leaving the Marina we will headingthe strait between Paros and Anti Paros, characterized by a shallow sea bottom. Long upwind navigation and bowline to reach Schinoussa: a little island, where agriculture is predominant and tourism isn't so much developed. Streets are unpaved and Chora consists in a dozen house group along the main road. We drop the anchor in Livadi bay and after lunch there will be an afternoon full of relax. Late afternoon a wonderful walk till Chora and dinner by Maria, a Greek lady owner of a little restaurant with tables outside; you have the opportunity to taste a very typical traditional Greek cuisine.
After breakfast passage from Schinoussa towards Amorgos; maybe the navigation here will be funny and strong. Amorgos is an arid and wild island, surronded by a blue sea in contrast with the landscape around. We drop the anchor in the big bay of Katakopula. Lunch on the bay and afternoon spent visiting the monastery of Hozoviotissa, setted in a rock 300 meters above the sea, on the island's coast. To reach it, it's better to rent a scooter and then walk the 1000 steps. The effort will be repaid by the breathtaking view and also by the monks who often offer you a glass of rakomelo and some fruit and sugar sweets.
Day 4 will be 10 miles bowline sailing towards AntiKeros, two empty islets divided by a narrow channel that creates a wonderful mooring for swim and lunch. Afternoon sailing in bowline to reach Schinoussa, spending the night in this bay on the southest part of the island.
Today less sailing and a lot of relax! Short bowline to reach Kato Koufonissi, a little island with a dozen inhabitants and long white beaches. Drop the anchor near the beach in the crystal-clear water, spending the afternoon swimming and relaxing. Late afternoon will be the last 30 minutes sailing of the day towards, Koufounissi, funny evening here.
Day 6 will be a beautiful and intense navigation along the Aegean, in one of the most windy areas, in particular the channel between Naxos and Paros. The first part of the navigation will be a close reach sailing, and then it will be upwind. Early afternoon dropping the anchor in Anti-Paros, in the Despotiko bay. Dinner on board under a starry night.
Today we will visit the archaeological site of Despotiko , where you can walk among the remains of the ancient temple of Apollo and enjoy the beautiful view of the Aegean. Then short sail to a small islet in the channel between Paros and Antiparos. Lunch in the bay and afternoon of relaxation. Return to port is scheduled for late afternoon.
Disembarkation is scheduled in the early morning after breakfast.
The itinerary may be subject to variations based on weather conditions, safety conditions and the technical assessments of the captain of the boat. This program is intended as indicative and not binding.
