This is an example itinerary suggested by the BeBlue skippers who are experts in the navigation area. The route can be planned on the needs of the group before departure or during navigation.
Day 1: Check-in
Check-in available in the afternoon at the Charter offices in the embarkation Marina. After the quick procedures of taking over the boat (technical check-in) and embarking the galley, you can enjoy an aperitif and dinner near the Marina or alternatively set sail immediately and enjoy the first sailing.
Day 2
Anchoring in this first bay will allow you to swim in the crystal-clear, pristine waters of the Los Canarreos archipelago, gateway to the legendary Cayo Largo. In the morning, you will have the opportunity to go snorkelling on the reef or relax on the beach before lunch on board; in the afternoon, we will head towards Playa Mal Tiempo and, during the transfer, you can try your hand at fishing. We will reach Playa Sirena for a final evening swim.
Day 3
After breakfast and a few dips we will hoist the sails to Cayo Ciprey, another picture-postcard location where you can swim and snorkel in the crystal-clear waters or walk on the beach with iguanas or explore the island. In the early afternoon you can swim in the beautiful coral reefs surrounding this atoll by tender. We sail for two hours until we reach the island of Cayo Largo, where customs procedures will be carried out, before going to anchor to spend the night and have dinner under the stars.
Day 4
After a hearty breakfast we will unfurl the mainsail and jib to head towards Playa Cayo Rosario where you will have the opportunity to fish and snorkel amidst the hundreds of colourful tropical fish that inhabit the reef - the impression will be that of swimming in an aquarium. We will stay all afternoon in this paradise and in the evening we will have dinner at anchor near Cayo Rosario.
Day 5
Breakfast on board and head for Cayo Largo: the real gem of this trip! In the morning we will stop at Canal del Estopa where you can spend your time snorkelling and walking on the magnificent beach, swimming with turtles and exploring every corner of this paradise with the boat's tender. In the early afternoon, after lunch, we will weigh anchor and set sail for Cayo Largo. After we moor at the Marina, you will have the opportunity to explore the island, go shopping and visit the sea turtle sanctuary. You can have dinner on board or in one of the typical Cuban restaurants in the area around the marina.
Day 6
After breakfast exit formalities at Harbour Master’s office (mandatory). Departure at 09:00 to swim, snorkel on the coral reef . Route to Quinto Canal with dinghy in the mangrove canals, swimming in the natural pool and walking on the island. Lunch on board and departure to Paraiso or Mal Tiempo. In the afternoon we will move to Punta Del Este or Cayo Sal. Dinner and night on board at anchor.
Day 7
After breakfast we will leave the anchorage and hoist the sails to sail to Cienfuegos, not before stopping for one last tour and swim on the pristine coral reef. After lunch as we head towards the Cienfuegos Marina, you will have the opportunity to fish and relax before spending the last night on board. Return to port is scheduled for late afternoon.
Day 8: Check-out
Disembarkation is scheduled in the early morning after breakfast.
