Day 1: Check-in
Check-in available from 5 p.m. at the embarkation Marina. After the technical check-in and a short presentation of the boat, you can take your seat in the cabins and board the galley before setting sail.
Day 2
We depart from Portorosa, sailing to the north in the direction of the beautiful island of Lipari. With its 37 square km surface shaped in the course of the centuries by no less than 12 volcanoes, this island is the biggest of the Aeolians and is around 20 nm away from the Sicilian coasts. Mountainous and with jagged coasts, it shows its volcanic nature along all its coastline, where you can find a deep cave after another, suggestive beaches and ample bays surrounded by red cliffs and white pumice stones. You can stop for a dive nearby the little coves of Portinente, Vinci and Punta del Perciato, or the secret beach of Acquacalda. Porto Pignataro and the Marina Lunga beach will be a good dock for the night.
Day 3
We sat sail from Lipari, proceeding on our route with a nice sailing to the north to reach Stromboli. The volcano from which the island originates is one of the six volcanoes in the world that are “constantly” active. The island coastline is full of caves and bays with wide black sand beaches, but also small hidden coves where you can stop for a dive in the crystal clear water with a thousand shades of blue. The little hamlet close to the sandy beach of Punta Lena certainly deserves a visit.
Day 4
After breakfast, we weigh anchor to the southwest in the direction of Salina. This island with high cliffs plunging steeply into a blue sea is the greenest of all the Aeolian Islands covered with ferns, olive and fruit trees. You can moor in the beautiful harbour of Santa Marina and go ashore to visit the pretty town with its marvellous 18th-century church and characteristic bell towers. This will be the perfect opportunity to enjoy dinner ashore and savour the tasty local cuisine.
Day 5
We set sail early in the morning from Santa Marina for a stop north of Salina. The picturesque bay of Pollara with its beautiful beach and uninhabited fishermen's cottages is a postcard sight not to be missed. After lunch you set sail again eastwards to Panarea. Here crystal-clear waters, scenic cliffs and enchanting seabed await you, making this island a popular destination for divers and snorkellers. You can drop anchor at Cala Junco, one of the most exciting landings in the Aeolian Islands, and go ashore for an excursion to the ruins of an ancient prehistoric village.
Day 6
From Panarea you set anchor for a morning sail westwards towards the island of Filicudi. It will immediately enchant you with its beautiful coastline where sheer cliffs and stacks alternate with beautiful flat beaches such as Capo Graziano. With the tender you can explore the numerous caves, the most famous of which is certainly the cave of the Bue Marino, with its incredible crystal-clear blue seabed.
Day 7
From Filicudi, set sail southeast to the beautiful island of Vulcano. Famous for its thermal springs and healing muds, it offers an unparalleled spectacle from the sea: the Grotta del Cavallo (Horse Cave), the Piscina di Venere (Venus Pool), the beaches to the south and the numerous coves to the west. An excursion ashore to climb the slopes of the volcano and admire from above the spectacle of the surrounding islands and the isthmus connecting Vulcano to Vulcanello is not to be missed. Return to the Marina at 18:00 hours with overnight stay in the port included.
Day 8: Check-out
Disembarkation is scheduled at 09:00 on Saturday.
The itinerary may be subject to variations based on weather conditions, safety conditions and the technical assessments of the captain of the boat. This program is intended as indicative and not binding.
